Julia signs on for the ‘Cry Of The Owl’ - 2007-11-14
Julia Stiles has signed up to star in a new thriller “Cry Of The Owl” opposite Paddy Considine and Scott Speedman. The film, based on the 1962 book by Patricia Highsmith, tells the story of a woman (played Stiles) who falls in love with her stalker (played by Cosidine). Speedman is set to play the woman's former flame that is out for revenge. Filming is due to start later this month in Toronto.
Julia to act 24 Hours Plays on Broadway - 2007-09-25
Julia Stiles will participate at this year's 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, a charity performance to be release on October 22 at the American Airlines Theater. A company of 24 actors will act in six short plays by six top playwrights, with the complete process of writing, rehearsal, and performance taking place in 24 hours. Other remarkable names at the company include Crudup, Rosie Perez, Lili Taylor, Kerry Washington.
Julia won’t strip for the cameras to avoid ending on porno sites - 2007-08-16
Julia Stiles says she will never appear naked in a film, because she fears it would end in porno sites. The actress doesn’t want her dentist to see nude photos from her circulating on the web."Sometimes a great role will come up - but if it calls for nudity I don't want to do it. Clips end up as porn on the internet. What if my dentist sees them?" Julia says.

Julia was born March 28th, 1981 in
New York City. She grew up right in Soho, where her parents ran
a pottery business together. They encouraged her to get involved
with the arts. She decided on acting and began working her way
up. Her first big chance came at age 11 at the La Mama Theater,
an interview she got by writing a letter to the director begging
for an audition. She also worked at the Kitchen Theater,
appearing in the plays 'Matthew: School of Life, ' and 'The
Sandalwood Box.' She grabbed a few small supporting roles in big
Hollywood films, including 'The Devil's Own' with Brad Pitt and
Harrison Ford.
